Re.pub.lic Pi is an architectural, interior, and branding project commissioned by established restaurateurs seeking a new twist on their successful model. Re.pub.lic Pi repurposed a former restaurant site next to a popular gastropub. The two restaurants have transformed a sleepy parking-oriented retail strip into a lively neighborhood center. Re.pub.lic Pi patrons are greeted with ample patio space shielded from the parking lot with steel beams, fencing, and wood privacy screening. The steel and wood elements continue inside giving the space a sleek, yet cozy atmosphere. Log storage for the wood-burning pizza oven is celebrated as art throughout the space—displayed inside custom steel casework that carves the restaurant into intimate alcoves.
